"Hi everyone!
First I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Sophia. I played season 3 and ended up being runner-up, came back season 4 and got a bad placement, but ended up winning all stars. first I want to let you guys know why i picked this competition for you guys. i was in a music reality show in 2007 here in Mexico, didn't win but made it to finals, I'm very passionate about music.
so this is what big brother would call "perform". i love this competition. here are the instructions.
Singing and Dancing
This is our Music week, your HOH competition is very easy. You have to find a good performance by a singer. This song has to be a COVER, a singer singing a song from another artist. Judge their singing, choreography, clothing, lightning, LIVE performance (No Music videos or Lip-syncing). Those will be the factors we will be judging. You will be POSTING your video LINK as a comment (Comments area of this post). If someone else has presented that performance you cannot use the same one. The second video will have to be a LATIN dance performance. This can be from any reality show, Dancing with the stars, America's Best Dance Crew, or any other dance show. The best combination of videos wins.

Singing: Her tone was beautiful and she sounded like an angel. She was pitch perfect and her runs and range were showed off with class. The way she added tension took my breath away. Also the way she changed keys was just A M A Z I N G!!!
Choreography: Since it was a slow song and was sung at a funeral the choreography was slow, but the stage presence she presented made me smile just like good dancing would.
Clothing: Her dress was beautiful and showed off her curves
Lighting: The lighting put a more dramatic feel to this already dramatic song.

It didn't say to judge this, but this dance was filled with passion which an argentine tango should. It also showed technicality

SONG:
I chose Birdy's version of Shelter, originally performed by The xx. There isn't any choreography or special clothing, it's just her singing in front of an audience. For me, that's what sets the mood, is just her, a mic and a piano. The lights are dimmed, and it gives off that eerie feeling.

For the dance, I chose a routine from So You Think You Can Dance. The performance is hot and passionate, and the lifts are just amazing. It's performed by fan favorites Anya and Pasha.

Choreography:There is not much of it because it is mostly the young singer playing the piano, but her voice obviousley makes up for that:)
Clothing:Her clothing in this video shows she might try to be comfortable in her own skin, making the song even more empowering.
Lighting: The lighting really made her voice more dramatic, there was for the most part light on only part of her face for the whole video, and lights on the piano as well

everything about this is perfect, the lighting, her outfit, so demi lovato and at the same time goes with the song, coreography is just simple movements here and there, hips movements, perfect!

Cheryl Burke has always been a force on DWTS and with this latin dance her and her partner told us a story. That is the entire point when it comes to dance in my opinion. We as an audience are watching so much more then just two people shake what their mama gave them on the stage, but we are watching something be told from a very different point of view. Their dance moves were sharp, it was a very different type of latin dance in my opinion because I'm use to latin being so quick, and upbeat rather than slow, and they had the props and uniform they explained a very promiscuous night.

he takes on both gender roles in this song, and doesn't miss a point! How cool is that. He's definitely not the typical singer because he has such a different style, without even trying or exerting his voice. Having over 25 million views on one video definitely embodies what it takes for the regular joe schmoe with talent to take his/her dreams to the whole new level.
